More Than a Song

Designing this worship graphic was more than just a creative moment—it came from something God has been doing in my heart. I've been leading worship for a few years now, and while music has always been a passion of mine, I’ve come to understand that worship is far deeper than a setlist.
At first glance, you’ll notice the guitar—a clear nod to the musical side of worship. But look closer, and you’ll see more. The central rose represents beauty born from surrender. Surrounding it are shards of leaves that resemble shattered glass. That’s intentional.
God has been shattering my own perception of worship—breaking down the idea that it’s just about performance and well-orchestrated music. The shattered pieces symbolize how He’s dismantling our tendency to reduce worship to sound. True worship is a surrendered life.
True worship looks like Jesus, sweating tears of blood in the Garden of Gethsemane when He surrendered His will to the Father. Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23). That’s worship. It’s choosing Jesus over comfort. It’s obedience in the quiet moments. It’s the daily decision to carry your cross.
This graphic captures that tension—beauty and brokenness, music and meaning. Worship isn’t just what we do with our voices. It’s how we live when the music stops.
